Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that he hopes Hugo Lloris stays at Tottenham following another commendable performance from the Frenchman, this time against West Brom.
Lloris was called into action in the 1-1 draw with the Baggies on Saturday having been forced to deny Jonas Olsson from point blank range to keep the scores level at the Hawthorns.
Pochettino was full of praise for the Spurs captain on Saturday, saying: "I think it was a great save, I can say he is one of the best goalkeepers in the world. We are lucky he is at Tottenham with us.
"There are always rumours about the players but we want to keep him for the future not only for the present. We want to build the next squad and the future with him. He is very happy with us."
Lloris has played a key role in a Spurs side that has conceded just 12 Premier League goals this season, only Manchester united (10) have shipped fewer.
