Bayern rule out Lewandowski sale

Bayern Munich have ruled out the sale of Robert Lewandowski to Real Madrid this summer.

Lewandowski, 27, has reportedly held talks with Madrid and agreed terms with Zinedine Zidane’s side over a summer switch with a fee all that is required to seal the deal.

The Poland international was in sensational form last season as Bayern wrapped up their fourth straight Bundesliga title but the Bavarian giants have put an end to speculation regarding his future after insisting he would not be sold this summer.

“He’s going to be playing for Bayern Munich again next season, there’s absolutely no doubt about it,” Bayern technical director Michael Reschke told Italy’s Radio CRC, via Sky Sports.

“He still has three years on his contract and we know that we have the best striker in the world in our squad. That is why there is no chance that he will be sold.”
