Barcelona have earmarked Arsenal forward Theo Walcott as their ideal replacement for Pedro, according to German publication Bild.
The La Liga champions reluctantly sold Pedro to Chelsea over the summer and have been linked with a variety of wideman as they look to bolster their frontline when their transfer ban is lifted in January.
Walcott, 27, only signed a new long term deal with Arsenal over the summer and would not come cheap for Barcelona, who are reportedly set to make a shock swoop for the England international in the New Year.
The former Southampton academy graduate sees his future through the middle, however, and would have to compromise that ambition if he was to make the move to the Nou Camp.
Walcott has scored 11 goals in his last 12 starts through the middle for Arsenal and looks to have edged ahead of Olivier Giroud in the pecking order this season.
