Inter are on the verge of completing a deal to sign Genoa defender Cristian Ansaldi, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, via Football Italia.
Ansaldi, 29, was hugely impressive for Genoa last season and his performances have seemingly caught the eye of Roberto Mancini as he seeks to bolster his backline.
The Argentina international has agreed terms with Inter and is set to undergo his medical with Mancini’s men in the coming days.
Ansaldi’s performances last season were so strong for Genoa that he finished in the WhoScored.com Serie A Team of the Season (7.33).
