Stoke reject Walters bid

Norwich City have had a bid of £1.5m for Jonathan Walters rejected by Stoke City, according to BBC Sport.

Walters, 31, has entered the final year of his deal at the Britannia Stadium and faces an uncertain future in Mark Hughes’ current Stoke set-up.

The arrivals of Xherdan Shaqiri and Ibrahim Afellay this summer are likely to come at the expense of game time for Walters, who has been at the club since 2010.
