PSG monitoring Manchester City star

PSG are keen to lure Sergio Aguero to Paris as they prepare a move for the Manchester City hotshot, reports the Sunday Express.

Aguero was recently dropped by manager Pep Guardiola, but has impressed of late, netting three goals and providing an assist in his last three appearances.

However, rumours suggest City are keen to cash in on the Argentine frontman, with a host of clubs across the continent hoping to sign a player of Aguero’s ilk.

PSG, meanwhile, remain desperate to bring in a world class frontman following Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s move to Manchester United over the summer, despite the goalscoring form of Edison Cavani.

City have been linked with moves for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Antoine Griezmann, with Aguero set to be sold to fund a move for either frontman.

And PSG are looking to get the ball rolling as soon as possible, with the French giants hoping to leapfrog Real Madrid in the race to sign the 28-year-old.

Despite missing three games through suspension this season, Aguero still has eight league goals to his name, a return bettered only by Diego Costa (9).
