Paris Saint-Germain midfielder open to offers

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot insists he is happy at the club but would be willing to listen to offers from big clubs like Real Madrid.

Rabiot, who has previously been linked with a move to Arsenal, has enjoyed a sensational campaign for the Ligue 1 giants and is arguably playing the best football of his career.

The 21-year-old’s current deal with PSG is due to expire in 2019 and while he is not actively looking to leave the club he has revealed offers from big clubs would have to be considered.

“I am under contract until 2019 and I do not think that I am in a rush,” Rabiot told Europe 1, via Get French Football. “Honestly, I am not thinking about that [leaving].

“If there are offers from big clubs, that obviously demands that they are considered. Clubs like Real Madrid, they are great club but, truly, the most important thing is the present and I am concentrating on what I am doing right now, that is the best thing to do.”

Rabiot previously failed to establish himself as regular in the starting XI under Laurent Blanc but has recently emerged as a key player for Unai Emery and played a pivotal role in their destruction of Barcelona in the Champions League last week.

Of players aged 21 and under that have started at least 10 games in Europe’s top five leagues this season only four have a better pass success rate than Rabiot (90.1%).
