Tottenham have announced Dele Alli has put pen to paper on a new six-year contract keeping him at the club until 2024.
Alli still had four years remaining on his current deal but Tottenham have moved to secure his long-term future.
Tottenham spent £5m to sign Alli from MK Dons at the start of 2015 and the 22-year-old has quickly developed into one of England’s best players.
Real Madrid have previously been linked with Alli but any suitor will now have to part ways with an enormous fee to have any chance of landing the attacking midfielder.
Alli came off the bench in Monday’s 1-0 defeat to Manchester City after more than a month on the sidelines through injury.
Since August 2015, Alli has netted 38 times in the Premier League, as many goals as Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino.
