Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has reached a private transfer agreement to join Real Madrid in the summer, according to AS.
Madrid director Jose Angel Sanchez reportedly met with Lewandowski’s agent Cezary Kucharski during Bayern’s Champions League semi-final defeat to Atletico Madrid and a deal seemingly appears closer than ever.
The Champions League winners would still need to agree a fee with Bayern, which is certainly not a foregone conclusion, but Lewandowski has openly admitted a move to Madrid is something he wants in the future.
Lewandowski finished the Bundesliga campaign as the top goalscorer (30).
