Nabil Fekir has informed Real Betis he wants to stay at the club next season amid reported interest from AC Milan and Arsenal, claims Marca.
The France international only joined Betis 12 months ago after completing a shock transfer from Ligue 1 outfit Lyon.
Fekir came close to joining Liverpool in the summer of 2018 only for the Premier League giants to shelve their interest following adverse medical results.
The 26-year-old has endured an encouraging first season at Betis since his initial £17.7m switch and has indicated he has no desire to move on this summer.
Nevertheless, Arsenal, Milan and Newcastle are reportedly still monitoring the situation, as Fekir's future may be out of his control.
Football clubs across Europe are waiting to count the cost of the coronavirus pandemic and Betis may have to sell this summer in order to balance their books for next season.
Fekir is by far Betis' star asset and he would likely be the first to be sold if required by the Spanish outfit, in which case the likes of Arsenal are waiting.
The 2018 World Cup winner has played a direct hand in 10 goals in 24 league appearances for Betis this season (seven goals, three assists) and claimed the WhoScored Man of the Match award eight times.
