Tottenham are considering a move for Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato, reports the Daily Star on Sunday.
Pato, who is currently on loan at Sao Paulo, has been in impressive form following his return to Brazil from Milan, netting a respectable 10 goals in the Brasileirao this season.
Such form has seen him linked with a return to Europe, with Liverpool and West Ham both supposedly interested in the 26-year-old.
However, both Premier League sides could face stiff competition from Spurs, who are keen on strengthening their attack in January after missing out on Saido Berahino over the summer.
Berahino has been attracting interest from Chelsea in recent weeks, though Spurs do hope to secure the services of the England international.
Should they, though, miss out on the West Brom striker, the north London side will instead pursure Pato, who is believed to be available for a fee of around £8m.
