Prodigious midfielder rejects Juventus in favour of Inter

Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali has rejected the chance of a move to Juventus in favour of a switch to fierce rivals Inter, reports French publication Le10 Sport. 

Tonali is one of the most sought after midfielders in Europe following a string of superb displays for Serie A basement boys Brescia. 

Having played a key role in their promotion from Serie B, the 20-year-old has been high on the wish list of a number of top teams across the continent. 

A host of Premier League sides had been courting Tonali, but the player himself seems keen on remaining in Italy. 

Juventus had been favourites to lure him away from Brescia, but the Serie A champions appear to have been trumped to the youngster's signature by Inter. 

Inter already have a host of central midfielders on the books, yet remain hopeful they can bolster their ranks with the capture of Tonali. 

The Italy international boasts a dribble success rate of 80% in Serie A this season, that the third best of those to have attempted 40 or more dribbles, to reinforce a statistically calculated WhoScored strength of 'dribbling'.
