Manchester City are close to securing the signatures of youthful pair Leroy Sane and Gabriel Jesus for a combined fee of £60m, reports the Telegraph.
Sane has long been linked with a switch to the Etihad Stadium, with Bundesliga side Schalke now prepared for life beyond the 20-year-old.
Bayern Munich and Barcelona had both been credited with an interest in the young wideman, but City are thought to have won the race to secure his services.
Gabriel Jesus, meanwhile, has impressed for Palmeiras in the Brasileirao this season, netting more goals (10) than any other player.
However, the 19-year-old striker would be expected to remain in Brazil on loan until the end of the season, with the teenager unlikely to obtain a work permit at this stage.
Should City wrap up deals for Sane and Gabriel Jesus, they would become the club’s fourth and fifth summer signings after Ilkay Gundogan, Nolito and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
