AC Milan are planning to meet the representatives of Barcelona defender Aleix Vidal on Thursday to discuss a summer move, according to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.
Vidal, 26, has failed to make any impression at Barcelona since making the £13m switch from Sevilla 12 months ago and could be primed for a summer move.
Milan are looking to bolster their squad after finishing in a disappointing seventh position last summer and have seemingly identified the Barcelona right back as a possible transfer target.
However, with the current uncertainty over Dani Alves’ future at the club, Barcelona could block any Vidal exit this summer, potentially scuppering Milan’s pursuit.
Vidal, who could only play after Barcelona’s transfer ban was lifted in January, only managed nine starts in the league and cup competition last season.
