Barcelona will start their re-building process in the summer by making a move for Tottenham ace Christian Eriksen, reports The Daily Mirror.
Eriksen, 25, has been in stunning form for Tottenham this season and his performances have caught the attention of Barcelona, who are looking to re-build their midfield at the end of the season.
Barcelona are hopeful they can use former player Michael Laudrup to convince his fellow countryman to force a move away from Tottenham to the Camp Nou.
However, the Denmark international won’t come cheap for Barcelona after he signed a new four-year deal in September.
Eriksen was in stunning form for Tottenham in their FA Cup semi-final defeat to Chelsea on Saturday where he became the first player in Europe’s top five leagues to register 20 assists in all competitions.
