Germany winger in shock Euro 2016 omission

Germany have announced Marco Reus has not made Joachim Low’s final 23-man squad for the European Championship’s next month.

Reus, 27, who also missed Germany’s World Cup triumph in 2014 due to ankle ligament damage, has been cut from Low’s preliminary squad along with Julian Brandt, Sebastian Rudy and Karim Bellarabi.

The Borussia Dortmund winger has missed out on another major tournament due to injury, while the likes of Andre Schurrle and Lukas Podolski have made the squad.
