Newcastle United have confirmed first choice goalkeeper Martin Dubravka has put pen to paper on a new six-year deal running until the summer of 2025.
Dubravka completed a permanent move to Newcastle from Slavia Prague in the summer of 2018 after spending the second half of the 2017/18 campaign on loan at St. James' Park.
The 30-year-old still had three years left to run on his original Newcastle contract but the Magpies have rewarded the Slovakia international with a new long-term deal.
"It's an amazing feeling," he told the club's official website. "I have to say that it feels like time has flown.
"It's been almost two years and I've found great people here who I can call friends. I've enjoyed my time here and I'm very glad that I can stay here for another six years."
Dubravka has been one of relatively few plus points for Newcastle in recent years and he has earned his bumper new contract.
The Newcastle goalkeeper ranks seventh in the Premier League for most saves made in the competition since the start of 2018 (149).
His best WhoScored rated performances this season have come in matches when the level of opposition have stepped up.
His WhoScored rating has exceeded 7.00 in their last two matches, in games against Chelsea (7.49) and Manchester United (7.44), in which he conceded just one goal.
