Roma bring in Fazio on loan

Serie A side Roma have signed Argentine defender Federico Fazio on a season-long loan from Tottenham.

The gargantuan centre-back moved to White Hart Lane in 2014, yet struggled with the rigours of the Premier League and spent the second half of last season on loan at Sevilla.

He moves to Italy for a loan fee of €1.2m, while the deal can be made permanent at any time between now and June 30th 2017 for €3.2m.
