Turkish side Trabzonspor have announced the signing of Daniel Sturridge on a three-year deal with an option to a further 12 months.
Sturridge has been a free agent since his Liverpool deal expired at the end of last season, though it was thought he would have a queue of suitors.
French side Monaco were reportedly mulling a move for Sturridge earlier this month but Trabzonspor have won the race for his signature.
Sturridge has struggled with injuries in the last few years and he barely featured for Liverpool towards the end of his time at the club.
The 29-year-old has not made at least 15 starts in a single league campaign since 2013/14, which is also the last season he reached double figures for goals (21).
