Leicester are weighing up a move for Wolfsburg striker Bas Dost, according to Portuguese newspaper A Bola, via Get German Football.
Dost, 27, has been linked with a move away from Wolfsburg since the end of last season after dropping down the pecking order under Dieter Hecking.
Newcastle have reportedly made the biggest offer for the Netherlands international but Premier League champions Leicester are also said to be interested in his services.
Of players to have scored at least 10 goals in the last three Bundesliga seasons only Paul Verhaegh (37.5%) has a better conversion rate than Dost (30.4%).
