WhoScored Tipster: Super Sunday Betting

Sunday's action could have huge consequences in the race for Champions League football in England, while Juventus could take a huge step towards securing the Serie A title at the end of the weekend. It is with these top matches that the WhoScored Tipster's attentions are focused for the best bets of the day.

Tottenham vs Manchester City - Preview

Spurs host City for the first time since their 5-1 defeat at the start of last season, when Edin Dzeko starred with a 4 goal-haul that signalled their title credentials at a very early stage. The teams have since met twice at the Etihad with City requiring late goals to win on both occasions, Dzeko netting the winner in the reverse fixture earlier this season as City came from a goal down to win 2-1. With Sergio Aguero a doubt, Dzeko could get a chance to face his favourites Premier League opponents, and is decent value at 3.00 to net any time, but may be more tempting at 8.00 to net last.

Late goals have been a consistent feature of this Manchester City side, most notably in their title winning show on the final day of last season against QPR, and late goals have also been a regular feature of their meetings with Spurs. There has been a goal in the 88th minute or later in the last 3 meetings between the sides, whilst Peter Crouch won Spurs Champions League football with a late winner at the Etihad in May 2010. You can bet on a goal between the 76th minute and full time at 1.95.

There have been 14 goals in the last 3 meetings between Spurs and City, and while Spurs have seen over 2.5 goals scored in 9 of their last 10 games in all competitions, City have done in 3 of their last 4. This game is 1.91 to go over 2.5 once again which represents fantastic value, arguably the best of all 3 suggested bets.

Liverpool vs Chelsea - Preview

WhoScored Tipster: Super Sunday Betting

Before Chelsea's fantastic 3-0 win at Fulham in midweek, Liverpool would probably have been considered to have more of a chance in this tie, but on Rafa Benitez's return to Anfield, he may well be taking the full prize back to London come Sunday evening. Liverpool's recent record against the Blues is, though, extremely impressive. They have lost none of the last 5 Premier League meetings between the sides, though they did lose an FA Cup tie during that run. Liverpool have also kept a clean sheet in 5 of their last 7 home Premier League matches, and their upturn in form could see them giving Chelsea a run for their money. What has remained consistent in meetings between the sides has been Liverpool's late goals. Whatever the final result, Liverpool have scored the final goal in each of their last 7 meetings with Chelsea, doing so most recently in the 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge earlier this season. Bet on the home side to score last this time around, at 1.67.

Juventus vs AC Milan - Preview

Later on Sunday, Juventus have a chance to dent the Champions League aspirations of Milan who, without the suspended Mario Balotelli, may struggle in Turin. The Rossoneri's form has improved drastically since Balotelli's January arrival - they are yet to lose with him in their team - but with him serving the second game of a 3 match ban, they could have trouble in front of goal. Gigi Buffon has kept more clean sheets (13) than any other goalkeeper in Serie A this season, 7 of which have come in their last 10 home games. They have also won each of their last 5 league fixtures, conceding only twice in that time, and are thus odds-on favourites at 1.73 to win this tie. As mentioned, Milan could struggle for goals without their talisman, so Juve to win to nil at 2.80 could represent outstanding value.
