- Kilmarnock boss Derek McInnes made two changes after Killie lost 2-0 to Aberdeen up at Pittodrie in their latest Scottish Premiership match, before their European adventure came to an end despite drawing 1-1 with Copenhagen at Rugby Park.
- Joe Wright replaced Robbie Deas in defence on Thursday night, after missing the weekend's trip to Pittodrie through suspension. He accompanied Jack Burroughs, Lewis Mayo and Stuart Findlay at the back.
- Danny Armstrong and Matty Kennedy provided the width, with Liam Donnelly and Brad Lyons in the centre. David Watson made way for club captain Kyle Vassell to partner Marley Watkins, who gave Killie a lifeline against Copenhagen, in attack.
- Hibernian manager David Gray made three changes from the Hibees being knocked out of the Scottish League Cup at Parkhead courtesy of a 3-1 defeat to Celtic, before a late leveller saw Dundee leave Easter Road with a 2-2 draw.
- Rocky Bushiri dropped out of defence, as Hibs opted for a flat back four. Club captain Joe Newell was joined in midfield by Nicky Cadden and Kwon Hyeok-Kyu - on loan from Celtic - as Nathan Moriah-Welsh and Josh Campbell made way.
- Rudi Molotnikov came back in to start on the left hand side, with Martin Boyle on the right as they both supported lone striker Mykola Kukharevych in attack at the weekend.
