- Unsurprisingly, Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin named an unchanged Dons team following a comfortable 2-0 victory over Kilmarnock at Pittodrie, before they left it late to depart Dingwall with all three points against Ross County before the break.
- Dimitar Mitov kept a sixth clean sheet of the season, saving a penalty against the Staggies, as Jack MacKenzie, Gavin Molloy, Slobodan Rubezic and Nicky Devlin made up the back four in front of him.
- Graeme Shinnie and Sivert Nilsen sat as the duo in front of the back four. Topi Keskinen, Ester Sokler and Jamie McGrath supported sole striker Pape Gueye. Kevin Nisbet netted the winner in the Highlands off the bench, so could start this one.
- Motherwell manager Stuart Kettlewell also named an unchanged Steelmen side after they clinched a 3-1 victory versus Hearts at Fir Park, before they too left it late as they snuck past St Johnstone 2-1 at McDiarmid Park before the break.
- Aston Oxborough continued in goal behind an unchanged back three of Dan Casey, Liam Gordon and Paul McGinn. Stephen O'Donnell remained at right wing-back as Ewan Wilson kept his place on the left hand-side of midfield.
- Davor Zdravkovski and Andy Halliday started in the middle of the park. Lennon Miller and Tawanda Maswanhise supported lone striker Zach Robinson. Moses Ebiye netted the Well's winning goal in Perth off the bench, so is pushing for a starting spot.
