- St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson made two changes after the Buddies were beaten 4-0 by Hearts at Tynecastle before they equalised at Ibrox but lost 2-1 to Rangers on Sunday afternoon.
- Ellery Balcombe continued in goal behind an unchanged back three of Charles Dunne, Alex Gogic and Marcus Fraser. The Buddies shifted to a 3-4-3 with Elvis Bwomono coming in at right wing-back to replace Oisin Smyth and Scott Tanser starting at left wing-back.
- Killian Phillips started alongside club captain Mark O'Hara in midfield. Kevin van Veen has a foot injury, so James Scott took his place to accompany Greg Kiltie in support of Toyosi Olusanya up front.
- Simo Valakari named an unchanged Saints side after their 3-0 victory over Ross County at McDiarmid Park, before his long-awaited dugout debut ended in a 2-1 Tayside derby victory over Dundee at Dens Park on Saturday afternoon.
- Andre Raymond, Jack Sanders, Lewis Neilson and Drey Wright made up the back four behind Ross Sinclair in goal. Jason Holt remained alongside Matt Smith and Sven Sprangler in the trio of midfielders that sat in front of the back four.
- Graham Carey netted Saints' equaliser off the bench, so is pushing to start in this midweek match. Nicky Clark grabbed the winner, as he supported Benji Kimpioka and Adama Sidibeh up front.
