Madrid missed out on Premier League star

Real Madrid passed on the chance to sign N’Golo Kante, according to Spanish newspaper El Pais, via Eurosport.

Kante, 24, was heavily scouted by a member of the Madrid recruitment team but the La Liga giants opted against signing the former Caen midfielder due to his low profile.

The French midfielder instead joined Leicester City last summer and his form has been integral behind the Foxes’ remarkable campaign.
