Former Manchester United wonderkid Ravel Morrison has a new club

Middlesbrough have announced the arrival of Sheffield United midfielder Ravel Morrison on loan for the remainder of the season.

Morrison signed a 12-month deal with the newly promoted Premier League outfit last summer but has struggled to get going for the Blades.

The former Manchester United wonderkid has been reduced to limited game time, mostly in the cup competitions, and has now dropped down to the Championship.

Middlesbrough head coach Jonathan Woodgate has recruited Morrison in hope the 26-year-old can inspire his side well clear of the bottom of the drop.

This is the 11th club of Morrison's career as the former England under-21 international continues his search for stabilitiy.

Morrison managed only 12 minutes of Premier League playing time for Sheffield United, coming as a substitute in 2-1 defeat against Leicester in August.
