Manchester United are readying a world record £100m move for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, reports the Daily Mail.
The Frenchman left United for the Serie A champions in 2012 on a free transfer, but are now willing to spend big to bring him back to Old Trafford.
Pogba played a starring role for the Old Lady last term, gaining a better WhoScored rating (7.81) than any other player in Italy’s top tier.
Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City have all been strongly linked with a move for the youngster, but United are hoping to convince Pogba to return to the club.
They are supposedly ready to offer the France international £250,000 a week to leave Juventus this summer for United.
United have already confirmed the signings of Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer and are close to securing the services of Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
