Everton have Allardyce replacement lined up

Everton will sack Sam Allardyce at the end of the season and move for Shakhtar Donetsk boss Paulo Fonseca, claims The Daily Mirror.

Allardyce was only appointed Everton manager at the end of November and his current deal is not due to expire until the end of next season.

The former England manager has successfully steered Everton clear of the drop zone but he has failed to endear himself to supporters.

Results have improved by the football is not what Everton fans want to see and the board are expected to make a change in the summer.

The Toffees will rekindle their interest in Fonseca and attempt to prise the highly rated 45-year-old.

Everton have Allardyce replacement lined up

Fonseca has spent the last two years at Shakhtar and led them to the last 16 of this season’s Champions League, even beating Manchester City in the group stage of the competition.

If the Premier League table started when Allardyce was appointed then Everton would be sixth and only two points behind Chelsea.
