Manchester United are in advanced talks to sign Ajax wonderkid Justin Kluivert, reports The Daily Mirror.
Jose Mourinho’s side are trying to secure the 18-year-old’s long-term future by agreeing an £10m fee with Ajax plus various add-ons.
The United manager has known Kluivert since he was a boy after coaching his father, Patrick, during his time at Barcelona.
Mourinho even spoke with the teenager after United defeated Ajax in the Europa League final last season and is now believed to be trying to prise the Dutch starlet to Old Trafford.
United signed Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal last month but Mourinho still needs to find a long-term solution on the right hand side of attack.
The Ajax starlet has scored five goals and provided two assists in 16 league appearances this season, garnering an impressive WhoScored rating of 7.28.
